Barbie doll

Beloved!,
What do you think-
Of 'broken toys'?
"useless!..., ugly!...
yea they are"!
But,
Why my baby cry-
Over a 'broken' barbie doll?
She nurses it,
Speaks to it in secret tongue,
Spends night with it,
Spares a little food and comfort,
Never asks for a new toy?
May be,
She knows not,
What we all know-
"Use and throw"!

Beloved,
Let's read this 'Barbie Bible'!
Before we are lost to the wedding night.

Voice

Give me the voice-
Of a man,
I found in my teen.
He walked with me,
I was ashamed of him,
That he had no voice!
Once he told me,
The pain of being 'voiceless'.
Now I know the voiceless,
So do I know my voice!

The Act of Faith

A silent cry of a migraine,
Like an industrial alarm in head!
All a remnant of night-depression.
Like loosing bangles, the falling sighs!
A trick to soothe my palm.
Life reaches the bitter, weary ends!
Like a pack of playing cards.

Me, settled on my kneeling rug,
Asking less pain, pity from gods,
A logic-less lesson taught in-
My home, though-
Through a 'conditioning game'!

Lord, loudest of my prayers-
To feel how desolate, when-
The blessed ones, turn a deaf and dumb,
The hate-gamers love high-worship,
Deserted church yards preach-
Destiny rhetoric on its pulpits, when-
Divine love, lies locked on wall!

Lord,
The singing bird burned it's wings,
Begging bowl lost it's beggar,
My play-boat lost on rocky roads,
Decayed bloom in the blossoming flower.
You please speak to my hope,
How shall I do the 'Act of Faith'?

The Boat-Man

She saw a boat-man,
A half naked 'grey man', smelling fish,
A man of melting shadow,
Never the ripples got him.
A wet earthly one,
Knows depths, devil's zones!

Once on a full moon, the first meeting,
An ever flowing river in her breast!
A stormy sea in his brain!
Now a river with storm flowing.

He carried her on the boat-head,
Many a woman traveled ashore,
But the river man never ferried anyone!
Day and night, dawn and dusk,
Storms, rains, drowning boat,
He at the rear on the ore,
Fighting waves-
To find what he never finds!

The Strange Monk

A monk on a festive street,
Trapped in a gambler's group,
Like a monkey's-
Drunken hand, dropped-
In a bustling bee-hive!

The strange monk!,
Stands like a huge rock,
For it's time to pray!
No chanting, no offering,
No devotee, not a temple flower!
Strange as a monkey,
In a minister's chamber!

A beggar to another,
"Better learn business skills!"
And, dressed in saffron-
Getting to the crowd,
And 'the beggar's bowl is full!'

Strange monk!
And a strange God!
To fill the beggar's bowl.

Unknown Friend

To my unknown friend,
"Do you know me?"
The unknown reply,
"One day will know you?
You are..
He,
Stubborn,
Single!"
"That's fun, how-
Do you know it?"
The unknown answer,
"Him I dream,
Shares my dream,
Eats with me,
Sleeps with me,
Wakes with me,
He is a stubborn single!"
"Do you have a name?"
"yes I am a stubborn, single, female"
My reply,
"Yes I know,
You are my dream,
Share my dream,
Eat with me,
Sleep with me,
Wake with me,
You are a stubborn, single, female!"
