hope is not hope

Morning came,
Alone without you!
Me borrowed a rain coat-
Though rain never fell!
You fed me with hope-
Though hope never hoped!
Like a drug,
Which lost it's punch.
I die each day
With the dying sun.
Depression curtains
My windowsill-
And sunlight shies away
With its drop of hope
Wrapped in a gleam.

My Truth

Let me say 'No'
When I need to.
Angelic devils force me though-
to be a nice dressed little
'pleaser' like a sales girl!

Let me flee-
This brutal cage
Lest orthodoxy give me
The lasting habit of a 'successful slave' !

Who knows the truth,
If truth has not told.
The path is mine,
None can walk it.
