hope is not hope

Morning came,
Alone without you!
Me borrowed a rain coat-
Though rain never fell!
You fed me with hope-
Though hope never hoped!
Like a drug,
Which lost it's punch.
I die each day
With the dying sun.
Depression curtains
My windowsill-
And sunlight shies away
With its drop of hope
Wrapped in a gleam.
