Self Care

Nail polish, face bleach and make up,
you, a modern girl who knows your body.
And your story is that of a hegemony untold,
That suppression kept you under sacred rags!
And the gods of men made you feel like a queen,
And she in their courtyards begged freedom to her flesh!

Tell me a while ago who brought you salvation?
That now you know your body in suffering and pleasure!
A Christ of women, from heaven in his pure form?
Who knew how, a hurting Magdalene to give a break!

I desired you a million times in your body,
And promised to care it, a millions times for sure!
For I know our body is the smile of our souls,
Who lost their pleasure in heaven, on their way to earth!
Never I knew to care it well until you did say,
Of all tips of health to try at home in our stay!

Let me agree that you know your body like you say,
Not a man, even me, can't judge it well, I must say
I am a farmer's son, and I know to care this earth in a way,
Now I know you my earth, as you dress this season in your way!
