Let it rain

Fall on me, you rain,
Like a waterfall from the wild;
Wrap me around with your shivering hands,
In this coldest of nights, my love.

I have a molten iron,
Melting through my navel;
With the roar and heat,
Of an awakening lava,
Fuming with the smoke of love.
Like a birthing mushroom egg,
Let me reach beyond the crust of earth;
To hold your hand in a wink of eye,
And cool my heat before it blasts.

A drop of misty crystal of rain,
On your lips waiting to travel,
In a knowing of a spring and summer,
To the land of lush green laps,
To embrace the earth of you beloved!

Let it pour rain in torrential levels,
And the smell of fresh earth survives,
Every wound and broken promise evaporate,
With the sigh of relief that 'love can heal'.
