Lead Singer

Lead singer,

You had a song for me!
"Love in the air...",
Loved your rhymes-
Raw, as a virgin vineyard.
Loud as it echoes here!
That your band could fail!
And you merged with the stars,
To sing all night,
In a wink of heaven,
To manifest the earths's raw desires.

If your eyes could sing,
And I could hear it's rhythm,
My heart would beat,
In perfect symphony,
To your tune, a divine medley!

Your lips like a kid,
Running a lot chores,
With it's play mates,
In it's cute little steps!

When you drop a toy,
To sound a lot of fun,
Your heart is at it's best,
To sing from it's deep,
Of trailing innocence-
And a resolve to resurrect!

I am your mate,
Gathering all bits to play,
Not knowing how your tremble,
On your little feet.
Alas! I tremble fast,
Just as you are,
Now you tell me how you sing,
When we are at our low,
Without a band of tried hands,
But with sheer smile and certitude!
