Returning Waves

How life learns of-
Less listed lessons?,
If not through a myriad,
Of ever returning waves!

An amateur seafarer,
In many relentless waves,
Fear a shipwreck, a death!

And the fisher folks on shore,
Wait for a catch, in those-
Huge ever returning mad waves!

When on a lonely expedition,
The long stretch of bare earth,
Baffles me endlessly,
To self doubt-
My whereabouts in fear!

The many who passed this stretch,
Have left a note of assurance,
For my path is not lost,
And my life is not lost,
To a pattern of desert traps!
